The National Association of Motor Vehicle Boards and Commissions is a nonprofit association created in 1979 to support government agencies responsible for regulating the vehicle industry.
For decades, NAMVBC has provided a forum for state boards, commissions, and regulatory agencies to exchange ideas, compare state laws, share enforcement strategies, and strengthen communication between government and the regulated industry.
As the vehicle marketplace has evolved, so has NAMVBC. Today, our mission includes not only motor vehicles, but also recreational vehicles and related recreational products that are increasingly raising licensing, classification, sales, financing, and consumer protection questions across the states.
